The project El Brujo is an interdisciplinary exploration of baroque music and urban dance in an effort to resize and connect these art forms with a wider audience. Through a dramatic plot and design that crosses the line of biographical, fictional, urban dance with a strict baroque music set to period instruments, the artists explore how music and movement are intrinsically related, linking iconic hip-hop ideas such as graffiti with medieval musical manuscripts; break dance movement and its relationship to baroque music.
